Join us for our Brothers Gathering Nov 2024 - 'Discover: Embarking on Change'

Continuing our 2024 word 'Discover', This will be an opportunity for Brothers of all ages to be together. Brothers Men's Ministry & Men United 4 Christ aim to go deep in worship, prayer and fellowship, learn about ourselves and receive strategies, impartation and insight = DISCOVER!

This Brothers and Men United 4 Christ Gathering is a time to be fully immersed in a day of ministry, guided by anointed and experienced men of God. There will be opportunity to give and receive prayer. Brothering as we encounter the presence of God together.

Afternoon Activity: Football Match

• Time: Match time TBC (further details will be sent to players)

• Details: Come and support your friends and fellow players at the football match! The exact time and venue will be announced soon, so keep an eye out for updates.

Evening Activity:Pizza & Movie Night

• Time: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM

• Details: Enjoy an evening with delicious pizza and a great movie! The cost is £5.00 per person, and the venue will be confirmed based on the number of sign-ups. Please sign up to secure your place. More details will be provided soon.

NLC Brothers Activity'influencing today releasing tomorrow' : 

We would like to invite all ages from Year 7 (secondary school age) upwards to a New Life Charity Football Match on Saturday 20th April 2024 no previous experience needed. Friends and family all welcome to play or just come along and support from the sidelines. 

The Match will take place at Moorways Stadium - Moor Ln, Allenton, Derby DE24 9HY

Please arrive by 12:30pm for a 1:00pm kick off!

The cost of the match is £10.00 per person. However please feel free to bring extra donations on the day to support this amazing cause. All the funds raised will go towards helping support and raise funds for NLC young people to attend ‘Emerge Youth Camp’ in the Summer.

Brothers Activity Days: Walk Saturday 23rd March 

Time - Meet at Sinfin Moor Park at 10.15am OR at church at 9.45am if transport is required from church to Park

Cost - Free. However please do bring some money along if you would like a bite to eat or a cuppa at the cafe at the end of the walk..

Venue - Sinfin Moor Park. Sinfin Ln, Derby DE24 9HW

Parking - Free

Extra Information:
This is a nice walk along a path that goes through fields. Flat Trainers are fine. Walking time would be about 1 hour 15mins in total. Possibility of playing a bit of outdoor table tennis in the park & opportunity to visit the cafe for a bite and a cuppa together at the end

Please bring your own table tennis bats and balls if you have them available.
The first 20 mins will be a general practice for everyone and then we will put all names in a hat and we will have a little knock-out competition!

'Walk and Talk' 10:30am - 12.15pm.

Meet at Sinfin Moor Park, DE24 9HW , at 10:30am. If you require transport to get there meet at 10am at New Life Church, Rosehill Street.

Our very own Hang Lung will introduce us to the three shorthorn cows and one Highland cow, which featured in a recent BBC article. He will tell us about the Park and Nature Reserve. The walk will be relatively short, 2-3 miles max, but bear in mind grass is likely to be wet. For those who want to stay a bit longer, there is the possibility of table tennis, and the café (cash only) will be open for hot drinks, bacon rolls, etc.

The Brothers Men's Ministry Team would like to invited you to an exciting day of activities on Saturday 22nd April There are 3 different activities that you can choose from throughout the day, something to suit all. Please feel free to sign up to as many of the activities as you would like.  

Morning/Early Afternoon Activity Event - 

We are going on a walk on April 22nd and will meet at 9:30 am at New Life Church. From there, we will drive to Cromford. The first part of the walk will be flat and beside the canal. Afterward, we will hike up a long and steady incline to Black Rocks, where we will get great views over Matlock Bath. There are toilets and a cafe at Black Rocks. Then we will walk back to the car park and return to New Life Church around 2:30 pm.

Please note that the terrain is quite muddy, so ideally, wear walking boots. However, trainers are also acceptable. We will arrange transportation, and the total cost, including transport and parking, is £5. Boys accompanied by their father or carer do not need to pay.

Late afternoon virtual Activity Day Event -

via zoom invitation only 15:00-16:15 – presentation by Steve Jenkins - Genistar Representative … Financial education which empowers individuals to make their own informed choices about their finances. Empower families to become debt free and financially independent. (If you become a Genistar Representative, you can, after training, earn while educating others on becoming financially independent.)

Evening Meal Activity Event

Either at a local restaurant (Adult - £19.95 or Child under 150cm - £9.95) or at Rogers home for a takeaway. Venue & Details to be sent to those who sign up - depending on numbers (Food cost between £10-£20)
